Cochin University of Science and Technology has released the notification for CUSAT CAT 2024 Counselling Round 3 BTech Spot Admission. Spot admissions will be held tomorrow, September 10, 2024.
Students eligible to participate in the spot admission round must report at the counseling venue within the given date.

CUSAT CAT 2024 Counselling Round 3 BTech Spot Admission
CUSAT CAT Round 3 Spot Admissions will be held at Seminar Complex, Near Administrative Office, Cochin University of Science and Technology, South Kalamassery, Kochi – 682 022. Students who have secured CUSAT CAT rank between 01 – 17790 can participate in the spot counselling round. Registrations for CUSAT CAT Round 3 Spot Admissions will be open from 9 AM to 10 AM.
As per the notification released, individual call letters will not be sent to the students and they must register at the said venue before 10 AM. Candidates who do not report before the given time will not be considered for spot admissions.
CUSAT CAT Spot Round Eligibility
- Candidates who have not received any allotment till date.
- Candidates who have received allotment and wish to switch to another programme.
- Candidates who had not registered their options earlier.
- Candidates who had received allotment earlier and had cancelled their allotment.
- Candidates who had received allotment earlier and were rejected by the department (not due to eligibility).
- Candidates who had received allotment earlier and had not deposited the requisite fee.
Following are the eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech Spot Round, Candidates who have taken admission in 1st or 2nd Spot Admission and have not paid the requisite fee or balance amount and those who got earlier allotment and were rejected by the department are not eligible to apply for Spot Admission Round.
CUSAT CAT Admission Documents for Spot Admission
- CAT 2024 Admit Card or Online Application Registration Confirmation Page
- Migration Certificate (for students from outside the state of Kerala)
- SSLC or Class 10 Marksheet and Pass Certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc.)
- Class 12 Marksheet and Pass Certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc.)
- Certificate to prove Keralite status for State Merit seats
- Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended (in English version)
- Four passport size photographs of the candidate
- Community and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in case of ‘SEBC’ candidates
- Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar in case of Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) or Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) candidates
- Candidates seeking admission under the Physically Handicapped (PHC) category should submit a valid Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by the District Medical Board of the state they belong to
- If any of the above certificates is not in English or Malayalam, candidates should submit a translated version in English endorsed by a Notary Public
- All the above mentioned original certificates or Two sets of self-attested copies of documents
- Proof for special reservation, if any (DAC, NRI, CGW, CHD, EWS, IDC, AND, TG, etc.)
- Declaration to be submitted by the candidate stating nationality in Annexure II (duly filled in) (for candidates from outside Kerala only)
Students must keep the following documents ready with them while reporting for spot admission.
