Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School in Cuttack High School Records Highest Cut-off marks in science, humanities, and commerce streams after the first merit list for plus two admissions was announced on Saturday.
Out of a total of 4,76,093 applicants, 4,26,472 students have been selected in the first list. A total of 2,22,697 girls, 2,03,755 boys, and 20 students of the third gender have been selected in the first list.
Cuttack High School Records Highest Cut-off
In science, Ravenshaw HSS recorded the highest cut-off of 91.5%, followed by Buxi Jagabandhu Vidyadhar (BJB) HSS in Bhubaneswar at 87% and Saraswati Vidya Mandir HSS in Berhampur at 84.83%.
In humanities, the highest cut-off marks were recorded by Ravenshaw HSS at 75.17%, followed by Government HSS, Rourkela at 74.33% and BJB Higher Secondary School, Bhubaneswar at 72.33%.
In commerce, Ravenshaw HSS and Government HSS, Rourkela recorded the highest cut-off of 77%, followed by BJB HSS at second place with 70%. Jatiya Kabi Bira Kishore HSS in Cuttack had a cut-off of 68.67%.
Cuttack High School First Merit List
Out of the total applicants, 4,48,132 passed the Class X examination of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, of which 3,99,445 were selected in the first list. The selected students will have to report for admission between July 22 and 27.
The second merit list will be declared on August 5. Classes for the 2024-25 academic session will begin from August 1, while spot admissions for vacant seats will be held between August 22 and 28, official sources said.
