National Institute of Technology Rourkela has released the notification for NIT Rourkela Vacant Seats Admission 2024 in some M.Tech.
Programs at the institute after admission through CCMT-2024. The institute will fill the vacant seats under various departments under self-financing mode (GATE/Non-GATE).

The departments and areas of specialization are as follows: (i) Biotechnology and Medical Engineering: Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering (ii) Civil Engineering: Geotechnical Engineering; Structural Engineering; Transportation Engineering; Water Resources Engineering; Environmental Engineering (iii) Computer Science and Engineering- Software Engineering-(SE), Computer Science (iv) Chemical Engineering- Chemical Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering (v) Ceramic Engineering- Industrial Ceramics.

Eligibility
Applicants must possess B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent degree in the subject mentioned in the notification at https://www.nitrkl.ac.in/ In the qualifying degree, candidates must have passed at least 6.5 CGPA/60% (6.0 CGPA/55% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates).
The application can be submitted online at http://eapplication.nitrkl.ac.in between 14th August 2024 to 20th August 2024.
Application fee of Rs.500/- can be paid online between 14th August 2024 to 19th August 2024. The detailed notification is available at https://www.nitrkl.ac.in/.
Admissions Vacant Seats of M Tech Programs
Those appearing for B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (final semester) examination can also apply for the above programmes. However, they must submit their mark sheet/grade sheet showing 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in aggregate by 30 September 2024, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
Selection will be done on the basis of marks/CGPA obtained in the qualifying degree and written and/or oral examination conducted by the concerned department. Selection criteria may vary for different departments.
