The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has started the TS ICET Counselling Registration 2024 process for Round 1 for TS ICET counselling 2024 today (September 1). Candidates will be able to apply on the official website of TSCHE – tgicet.nic.in.
Candidates registering for TS ICET counselling must have secured at least 50 per cent (for OC) and 45 per cent (for others) marks to be eligible.

TS ICET Counselling Registration 2024 Eligibility
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- However, the maximum eligible age for receiving scholarship is 30 years for O.C. candidates and 34 years for other candidates as on 01-07-2024, as applicable as per the guidelines prescribed in Memorandum No. 10537/S.W.(Adv.2)/2011, dated 20-10-2012 and other guidelines issued by Social Welfare (Adv.) Department from time to time.
- Candidate must be a resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh State as defined in G.O.(P) No. 646, Education (W) Department, dated 10-07-1979 and subsequent amendments.
- The qualifying degree obtained by Distance Mode Programme/Open Distance Learning (ODL) must be recognized by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations.
- In respect of other State University degree candidates must produce equivalence certificate issued from Osmania University.
Merely appearing for TGICET-2024 and obtaining a rank does not automatically entitle the candidate to be considered for admission unless the candidate satisfies the requirements prescribed for admission.
Candidate Seeking Admission
- For MBA: Must have passed a recognized bachelor’s degree examination of minimum three years duration except in Oriental languages.
- For MCA: Must have passed BCA/BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level.
TS ICET Counselling 2024 Schedule
Certificate verification for pre-booked candidates will be done between September 3 to 9 (but not on September 7). This will be followed by certificate verification between September 4 to 11 followed by exercise of options and freezing of options on September 11. Provisional allotment of seats will be done on or before September 14 and payment of tuition fees and self-reporting through the website will be done between September 14 to 17. The final phase of TS ICET counselling 2024 will begin on September 20.
Certificate verification for pre-booked candidates will be done on September 21. This will be followed by exercise of options between September 21 to 22 and freezing of options on September 22. Provisional allotment of seats will be done on or before September 25 and payment of tuition fees and self-reporting through the website will be done between September 25 to 27.
Students will be given time from September 25 to 28 to report to their allotted colleges. Additionally, spot admission guidelines for MBA and MCA private unaided colleges will be put on the website on September 27.
The aim of the counselling process is to provide admission to candidates in MBA and MCA courses in colleges across the state of Telangana. Candidates can expect the provisional seat allotment result for TS ICET Phase 1 to be released on or before September 14.
