Spot admissions for various advanced and industry-ready courses are set to begin at the World Skill Centre Spot Admissions 2024 for the academic session 2024-25.
The admission process will begin on March 27 and will continue till April 6. Interested candidates must bring the required documents as per the notification released by World Skill Centre.

World Skill Center Spot Admissions 2024
Spot admissions are open for 5 courses under School of Engineering and 2 courses under School of Services. The process will start at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm. Youth of Odisha should avail this opportunity to upskill themselves in the courses of their interest.
The 5 advanced courses listed under School of Engineering are Vertical Transportation (Lift Technology), Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Mechanical and Electrical Services, Mechatronics and Electrical Technology.
Interested candidates must complete 2 years ITI/ 3 years Diploma to get admission in School of Engineering. After completing 1 year advanced course, interested students will participate in several placement drives including national and international companies.
World Skill Centre Advanced Courses
Similarly, 2 advanced courses are offered under the School of Services, which include Beauty Wellness & Spa and Hair Fashion & Design. Interested candidates must complete their +2/Diploma to take admission in the School of Services. After completing the 1-year advanced course, these students will be provided with national and international career opportunities.
Candidates should bring original and 1 set of photocopies of required documents like; passport size photo, Matriculation Certificate, ITI/Diploma/+2 Certificate, Caste Certificate for SC/ST and OBC students, Aadhaar Card, Original CLC of the last studied institute.
Spot Admission In World Skill Centre
Candidates can avail facilities of global standards like Industry 4.0 curriculum, state-of-the-art laboratories, international exposure, life skills, sports and wellness and global placements. It will prepare the youth of Odisha under the ‘Finishing School’ model of World Skill Centre by providing practical training with the life skills required to work at various industry platforms at the national and international level.
This advanced skill training institute is an initiative of the Government of Odisha aimed at uplifting the youth of Odisha. Free hostel and facilities like uniform, transport and food are being provided by the Odisha government. The course fee is free for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, EBC, Minority and Female students.
